Title: What Once We Hate

Summary: What once we hate, we learn to love.

He'd always detested being judged. He couldn't abide the feeling of them looking over his shoulder, watching and passing sentence on his actions and thoughts, telling him what to do, dictating what was appropriate. He'd escaped from them, but never for long. This time, they told him to be a warrior. They made him carry the burden of battle, so he'd had no choice but to bring on his darker self, the one that might never have existed, to shoulder the load. Now, their fate is in his hands, and nothing feels so good as being able to pass judgment.
