Summary: La Bocqueria reminds Donna of places she's never been.
The fruit market is a riot of colours, sounds and smells. It's just off La Ramblas and the sounds of the city awakening around them are somehow both exotic and familiar.
Donna had her heart set on a beach holiday for her honeymoon, but now she could admit that Shaun had been right about Barcelona. No amount of luxury breakfasts could compare to popping down from the nearby hotel for strawberries to feed each other in bed, or eating ridiculously juicy pineapple in a different park each day.
She's relieved that the dogs here have noses, and can't imagine why.
