The Doctor smiled at the thought; at her joy over something as simple as school. It was so long since he had seen her. Seen the woman she had become, and the great-grandchildren that he could never know. The last echoes of Gallifrey, kept safe from the Time War forever – as long as they remained a secret. As long as he never went back.
