#433 Crystal
Title: Crystal
Characters: The Doctor and the Brigadier
Rating: U
Word Count: 100
They clashed endlessly. Every day they were at loggerheads over something, their conversations laced with barbs, and sharpened with fractured patience. Tonight, however, the Brigadier was enjoying the other side of their relationship. The night was unexpectedly peaceful. A roaring fire glanced through his heavy, lead crystal glass, scattering patterns drawn from his single malt. Yates and Benton were on patrol, keeping the world safe, allowing him to rest. The Doctor was telling tall tales, making them both laugh, and the Brigadier was truly happy. They would never agree upon anything, it seemed, except that they would always be friends.
