Title: Tiebreak
Author:
tellshannon815
Characters: Rory, Amy. Mentions of Eleven
Rating: PG
Written For: Challenge 1047, Spelling Bee.
Spoilers: Only the very beginning of Eleven's era.
Summary: Rory usually hates being made to dress up as the Raggedy Doctor, until the word raggedy wins him the Leadworth Primary spelling bee.
Disclaimer: I don't own these characters. They own me.
Amy may have been his best friend, but sometimes Rory was really tired of playing her “raggedy doctor” game. It got even worse when she was given that box of dressing up clothes, making Rory dress up as the raggedy doctor, right out there in the street where all the Leadworth High kids walked past and laughed at him on their way home.
Still, he wasn’t going to admit it to her, but the raggedy doctor game came in handy when the school spelling bee came around. When it went to tie break, getting “raggedy” correct won it for Rory.
