Title: Weathering the Storm
Characters/Pairing: The TARDIS, The Doctor, gen.
Rating: PG
Summary: The TARDIS has endured worse storms, both outwith and within her own walls.
Words: 100
Warnings/Spoilers: Slight spoilers for The Doctor's Wife
The storm is fierce, tossing the TARDIS around violently. She shelters her passengers as best she can but her internal dampeners are not what they once were. The eddies in the timestream that she travels, are more like torrents, and the solar winds are scouring at her shell with an almost vicious intent.
The TARDIS regains her equilibrium soon enough. She has endured worse storms, both outwith and within her own walls. More importantly the storm she has carried within her for so long is safe and well. He pats her console gently in thanks and reassurance; they fly on.
