A break, the Doctor had said. Somewhere peaceful, to unwind after their fight against the Mara. All smiles and boundless confidence, he had set the controls for the seaside town of Polperro, aiming for 1963, when the beaches were still quiet and unknown. Ducking a fusillade of cannon fire, Tegan glared daggers at the Time Lord as they ran. This wasn’t Polperro, it was Gettysburg – and it wasn’t 1963, it was 1863. The Master was meddling in the American Civil War, and her holiday was a spectacular ruin. Bloody TARDIS! This 'accidental' adventuring thing was fast turning into a habit.
