It was late the following morning that Nanny Ogg heard a timid knock at her door. She opened it, and grinned at Victoria's state of exhausted dishevelment.

"Might I ask two questions?" Victoria began. "You made that remarkable pudding yesterday for me and Jamie. Was that the reason we...?"

"I seen a fair few young couples in my time. There's some as needs a little push to get where they belong." She nudged Victoria. "Be making up for lost time now, I reckon. What was your other question, dear?"

Victoria blushed and lowered her voice. "Could I have the recipe?"
