"Pond!" He raised his head above the side of an upturned table and wiggled in excitement. "Rory! You'll never guess what I found."
Amy looked up from her book and smiled. He'd been mentioning this place for weeks, and now finally they were here. Too bad there wasn't a café around, she thought.
Rory hesitated before finally asking, "What is it?"
"I don't know!" The Doctor lifted the strange orb-shaped device up above his head with one hand. Cables hung from its base like tentacles and occasionally one of the two lights built into it flashed blue. "But it's cool!"
