Warnings: Achluophobia and pogonophobia. Although admittedly that's a bit of a stretch.
Darkness fell slowly, settling itself down upon the room, until only a faint, rhythmic blue glow remained. It was the light of a tiny electrical component, from a far distant star system, its internal patterns matching the twin beats in the chest of the man who held it in his hand. The blue glow caught itself in his eyes, so bright and merry, and yet so cruel and hard. Gradually the hand tightened around the component, blocking out the light, and a smug smile twisted the man’s thin lips. The final piece was ready. Tomorrow the Earth would be his.

Date: 10 November 2012 05:40 am (UTC)Also, like Evillawyer, thanks for the new words (which I had to look up). Now I need to figure out some way to work them into everyday conversations just to annoy people.
Though I will admit, Iinitially misread achluophobia as chulophibia, and mistakenly believed it was an irrational fear of Chtulhu.
