Note: Inspired by the great prompt with help from the rasta hat the checker at the grocery store was wearing tonight.


“We have a new greatest enemy,” the Dalek commander told its troops from behind the podium. “An enemy without sympathy, without pity. An enemy that lacks all the weaknesses of humans, but it also lacks the cunning of the Doctor. We will use our new secret weapon to conquer and destroy our new enemy.”

“Daleks conquer and destroy,” the troops chanted in unison.

The Dalek commander rolled out in front of the podium, revealing the bright red, yellow, green and black frieze adorning the juncture between its top and its body. “We will show the Cybermen whose design lacks elegance.”

Hah! They may win the Can-Can, but can they do a little soft-shoe and twirl the canes like those dashing Cybermen can?

I myself must confess that I get stalled at the fact that the Cyberman can wear such cool boots (I especially like the silver combat boots from the 1960s, but all the boots are kind of cool). My mind hadn't got as far as Dalek vs. Cybermen cabaret and stage shows.
